Jennifer has worked as a Social worker in the Merrimack Vally for over 25 years. She has been a School Adjustment Counselor , School Social Worker and Administrator. Jennifer holds a Masters Degree in Social Work from Salem State University and C.A.G.S, Ed.S in Education Administration , Policy, and Planning from UMass Lowell. Jennifer is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker , certified School Adjustment Counselor/ School Social Worker and certified Principal / Asst. Principal. She also holds a EEC license as an Early Childhood Teacher/ Director.
Jennifer specializes in working with Special Education students who have social, emotional and behavioral issues. Also, children diagnosed with Autism, Anxiety, and varied mental health issues. Jennifer has many years experience providing individual, and small group therapy, social skills instruction and professional development for educators, adults and caregivers. Jennifer's vast experience working with youth and families has provided her the opportunity to not only become passionate about advocating for her clients but working endlessly to ensure their optimal level of functioning.

Katie has worked in education for 10 years; bringing classroom and guidance counseling
experience to Andover Social Development and Counseling Center. Katie's expertise lies in making connections with students of all ages and abilities to enhance the learning process and promote academic success. Her goal is for students to acquire the skill set to reach their
goals and realize their full academic potential.
Her experience can assist students with a wide range of assistance from breaking down overwhelming academic tasks ,management of academic course load, organization skills,
development of successful study strategies, goal setting, and time management , all the way
through building their academic resume, creating college lists and applications to prepare for higher education.
Katie attended Emerson College for her undergraduate education and holds her master's
degree in school counseling from Fitchburg State University and is a member of
the American School Counselor Association. Currently she is pursuing certification in college
admissions counseling. She continues to work in the Merrimack Valley and is an assistant coach for girls' high school lacrosse.
Kate Cronin, MSW, LICSW
Kate has worked as a clinical social worker in Massachusetts and Vermont for over 10 years. Kate holds a Master’s Degree in Social Work with a concentration in Children and Family studies from Wheelock College. She is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker in Massachusetts. Kate provides therapy to individuals, families, and small groups.
Kate utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Solution Focused models in working with individuals. She is certified in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and has experience working with children, adolescence, and adults with complex trauma. Kate is also trained in Psychological First Aid to treat individuals and groups through recent traumatic experiences. She also has experience in working with children, adolescence, and adults who have ADHD, Anxiety, Depression, Oppositional Defiant Disorder, and other mental health diagnoses.
Kate also specializes in working with transitional age youth who have social, emotional, and behavioral issues. She is certified by Portland State University in ‘Achieve My Plan’ model which utilizes motivational interviewing to engage young adults in developing personal goals and learn the skills to achieve them.
Kate brings her experience working in social work and her passion for supporting people with achieving their goals to Andover Social Development Counseling Center.
Michelle Collins, MSW, LICSW
Michelle is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker with 10 years of experience. Michelle has been working at a community based mental health agency in the Merrimack Valley for many years. She holds a Master’s Degree from Boston University School of Social Work. Michelle has extensive experience working with children, adolescents, transitional aged young adults and adults in a variety of mental health settings; outpatient, home-based, community-based, school-based and residential facilities.
Michelle specializes in working with children, adolescents and families with complex trauma. She is certified in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, SMART (Sensory Motor Arousal Regulation Therapy) and ARC (Attachment, Regulation and Competency). Michelle is also trained in Psychological
First Aid, a frame work utilized by many first responders, to treat children, adolescents, adults, and families in the aftermath of disaster or terrorism. Other areas of experience are; substance use/abuse, ADHD, Anxiety, Depression,
Post-Partum and other mental health diagnosis.
Michelle utilizes a strengths based perspective and draws from many therapeutic modalities; Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused, Motivational Interviewing, Family Systems, Mindfulness, and Narrative Therapy. Michelle believes no two people are the same and works closely with her clients to
individualize each person’s treatment.
